The role will be yours to build and will follow your personal strategy for success. From the start, you will be given 10 Key Accounts, all at varying levels of performance with the initial goal of setting short, medium and long term plans for each customer. Beyond that, you will be expected to work with PHD students, lab managers and directors of departments for some of the biggest universities in Germany. You will work with some of the industries brightest minds to help create and develop cutting edge solutions.

It is of real importance that the person who joins the team will be goal driven, keen to deliver results but also extremely collaborative and prepared to support colleagues where needed. You will be a persistent and ambitious sales person who is comfortable with a role that will ask for 10-15% growth over the coming year.
Someone who has experience selling to academic customers would be preferred, the main reason is that you can immediately leverage contacts and use your knowledge to open doors that may previously have been closed and you will understand the speed of the sales cycle - it's quick! You will have a strong technical background, ideally within a molecular biology or associated field; which will allow you to build credibility with your customers, and you will have fluent spoken German language skills.

They provide a package which involved a base salary up to €65,000 + 25% bonus, company car / car allowance, annual sport contribution + 30 days holidays + public holidays.

They have partnered with Delve in their searching for a Key Account Manager to join their team in Germany.
