  • Assembling electro-mechanical robotic equipment/systems 
  • On site role with some opportunity for travel (not obligatory)

The Role
Situated at their site near Warrington, you will be responsible for building their electro-mechanical equipment from the ground up and for team leading a small team of technicians. The hands on includes electrical and mechanical assembly, pulling cables, wiring, installing PCB's and IT networking. After the build you will also get involved in the testing before it is then shipped to the customer site. There will be some option to travel to support this, but the vast majority of this role is site based. From a Team Leading perspective, you will be leading a small team (starting with an apprentice) with a view to it growing moving forwards which involves managing workload and the projects. The role will be closely supported by the Service Manager and Operations Director so you should expect to be part of a team who will be committed to your learning and development.

What they are looking for:

  • Must have experience within electro-mechanical equipment - this could be vending machines, larger industrial photocopiers or similar machinery
  • You don’t need to have mechanical or electrical qualifications but do need to have some experience of team leading a small team 
  • Must have an excellent attitude and willingness to learn with aspirations to develop your career 
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • Good generally with IT and understand what IP addresses are and be able to set up networks
  • As it is a smaller company that is looking to grow, this will be suited to someone happy to be in a broad-based role and keen to learn
  • Due to growth, there will be avenues to progress moving forwards for those that have aspirations for progression
What you will get in return
You will receive a generous stating salary of up to circa £40k for a days-based role plus 25 days holidays plus bank holidays, 5%+3% pension contribution scheme and overtime paid back in lieu.
