Technical Sales Specialist - BENELUX

The Company

We have partnered with an innovative and exciting instrument and services provider in the spatial world. The company are rapidly growing, currently circa 500 people globally. They have offices, laboratories, and manufacturing facilities in Germany, Asia and USA.
They offer single-cell sequencing services and instrumentation focusing strongly on processing clinical sample types, for various single-cell sequencing applications, with an overall high success rate.
The company is dynamic, with a young and friendly team. They offer an opportunity to have an influence on the business success in an attractive field.
The Position
The ideal candidate for this position will be ambitious and have the drive and motivation to build relationships and grow revenue. Due to their continued expansion and ambitious growth targets, they are looking to develop their commercial teams by hiring additional sales specialists. People can use their research expertise and experience to sell sequencing services and instrumentation into research applications across the BENELUX region.
Key Responsibilities
  • Territory-based sales position managing customers based across the BENELUX region.
  • Build, develop and maintain relationships within selected territories and target customers
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by actively driving the sales of the company’s single-cell services
  • Effectively identify and interpret customer’s requirements, provide scientific and technical consultation to customers, helping maintain and support the full customer journey
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders in the field
  • Work closely with application scientists and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of service results
  • Plan and implement effective business strategies and support marketing activities
Who we are looking for
  • Sales, applications or customer service experience within Life Science
  • Ambitious person who has prospects to take more responsibility
  • Knowledge in relevant areas, such as single-cell sequencing, oncology immunology, genomics, next-generation sequencing
  • Someone happy to be based from home and willing to travel up to 50% (in the region)
