Sales Specialist/Channel Manager EMEA
We are currently working with a privately owned spectrophotometer manufacturer who is searching for a Sales Specialist/Channel Manager EMEA to join their commercial team based in Munich.The company is well-established and has a strong foothold in the global market, which means that they are well suited to someone who wants to work for a market leader. Managing their extensive distributor network across the EMEA, your role will be to support customer demonstrations and to help with any technical enquiries that they may have in regard to the instrumentation.
Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for sales and margins in the defined EMEA territory
- Develop and implement innovative sales, acquisition and customer retention strategies
- Take care of the existing distributor network and expand it further across EMEA
- Train the sales staff of our distribution partners
- Carry out needs analyses, create offers and follow them up
- Represent the company at trade fairs and conferences
- Create market and competition analysis and give feedback on product ideas, possible product improvements or new applications to marketing

- You have completed a university degree in natural sciences and have practical experience with molecular-biological working methods
- You have preferably already gained initial sales experience, e.g. at a biotechnology or bioanalysis company
- You are strong in building effective relationship management and enjoy travelling
- You are fluent in negotiations at all levels and appear confident
- You have a high degree of self-motivation, personal responsibility and team spirit
- You are fluent in spoken and written English
