Scientific Communications Manager

Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and track global marketing campaigns to generate interest and drive demand for our high-resolution nanoindenters.
- Formulate and design marketing materials, including application notes, white papers, product brochures, product videos, and social media posts.
- Collaborate closely with our Application Scientists to understand product positioning, value proposition, customer profiles, and the competitive landscape, ensuring the development of effective marketing communication messages.
Skills and Requirements:
- Extensive experience in scientific writing, translating complex science into compelling, marketable messaging.
- Excellent spoken and written English language skills.
- Ph.D. in materials science or a related field.
- Experience in marketing scientific instruments
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, results-oriented team environment.
- Thorough understanding of metallurgy fundamentals and related testing principles.
- Proficiency in using the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Hands-on experience with nanoindentation systems is a significant advantage.
Additional Qualities:
- Exceptional storytelling skills, able to convey purposeful and concise content even when dealing with complex subjects.
- An individual who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels under time pressure, and is highly ambitious in their pursuit of excellence.
- You have a very good understanding of the current trends in the academic metallurgy field.
