Position: Regional Sales Manager
About the Role:
They are seeking an energetic and driven Regional Sales Manager to expand territory growth of their high end instruments and consumables, across their cytometry and imaging portfolio. The territory will include Germany and Austria. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth and market expansion by establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders and identifying opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed regional sales targets and objectives.
  • Identify, engage, and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within academic institutions, research laboratories, biotech companies, and pharmaceutical organizations.
  • Actively prospect and qualify new leads while maintaining a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Deliver engaging presentations that effectively communicate the value and benefits of their solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, technical support, and customer service, to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and timely reporting of sales activities.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our solutions and expand your professional network.
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, business development, or a related role within the life sciences research industry. Minimum 3-5 years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of the life sciences research landscape, including proteomics, cellular analysis, and related technologies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Results-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for achieving targets.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to changing market dynamics.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required.
