Overview
We are looking to support an engineering company looking for a Mechanical Fitter. The company are a well established and growing business, who supply a range of equipment into the Aerospace sector.
The Role
Reporting into the Production Manager and working within a mixed engineering team, the purpose of the role is to provide mechanical assembly, disassembly and testing across their full range of products supplied within the Aerospace sector. There is potential with this role to develop further into Team Leading/ Training depending on your aspirations moving forwards.
Qualifications
- Time served apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering/Fitting
- Competent to read and follow engineering drawings
- Experience with hands on mechanical assembly/fitting
- Open to sector, aerospace transfer well
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven bench work experience
- Team player mentality
- Strong ethic towards health and safety
- Physical fitness for standing up all day and some heavy lifting and shifting
