Key Account Manager - Automotive
The business is a global semiconductor leader and recognised for their quality management standards, including ISO certifications, and ranked among the top players in NOR Flash and 32-bit MCU markets globally. They provide localised support through branch offices worldwide, delivering high-performance, low-power solutions for diverse markets such as industrial, automotive, consumer, and IoT.Selection of Key Responsibilities:
- Segment Expertise: Serve as the dedicated specialist for microelectronic components in the automotive industry, focusing on memory, microcontrollers (MCUs), and sensors. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the automotive microelectronics ecosystem, staying abreast of industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies.
- Account Management: Manage and nurture relationships with key accounts within the automotive sector. Understand the unique needs and challenges of each client, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction. Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, fostering long-term partnerships.
- Business Development: Drive the growth of the company's business in the automotive microelectronics segment. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the industry, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies. Leverage market knowledge to position the company as a preferred supplier.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for microelectronic components, aligning with the automotive industry's specific requirements. Collaborate with internal teams to tailor product offerings to meet the evolving needs of automotive clients.
- 7-10 years experience selling microelectronics solutions in to key automotive players i.e. ODMs, System Integrators, Tier 1s and OEMs.
- Deep understanding of technology (MCUs, Memory and Sensor technologies) with corresponding pain points and competitive solutions.
- Proven track record of handling key accounts with high revenues. Dealing with senior level decision stakeholders.
- Must thrive in a fast-growing and dynamic team environment. Self-organised and entrepreneurial mindset.
