Service/Commissioning Engineer
Electro-Mechanical Industrial systems 
3 locations - Scotland, North East, South West

We are working exclusively with a market leading global manufacturer of a range of industrial boilers and burner equipment supplied into a variety of industries who are looking for electro-mechanical engineers from within the sector to add to their ever growing team! 
  
The Role:
  
Reporting into the UK Service Manager, you will spend the first 4 - 8 months on hands on shadowing training to get up to speed with their equipment, alongside a few weeks at their HQ, before being able to respond to jobs on your own. The work is a mix of both pre planned services and breakdowns, and they also have roles for those who are more experienced in high level commissioning.

They are open to either electrical or mechanical bias, the most important thing is having experience from within the sector (work on industrial boilers, burners, thermal fluid equipment, steam boilers) and having a great way with customers as they give a lot of independence and trust to represent their company day to day. 
  
Locations:
  
Positions are open across the UK, however there is urgent need for people to cover;
  
 - Scotland (around Glasgow/Edinburgh)
 - NE (Newcastle to Middlesborough)
 - SW (Bristol/Somerset to South Wales)
  
Qualifications and Skills:
  
 - Ideally electrically biased but will consider mechanical bias, apprentice trained
 - 1+ years’ experience post qualifications - Service Engineer or multi-site maintenance role experience
 - Gas safe qualification – COCN1
 - Basic experience with control panels, complex HMI’s, PLC’s, fault finding 
 - Background in the Military e.g Navy, could be a very relevant fit
 - Professional approach with customers
 - Keen and willing to learn new skills - they have loads of training available         both internal and external 
 - Strong proactive problem solving and big-picture thinking
 - Confident to go to sites solo, communicating effectively with stakeholders
 - Pride in your work, with a penchant for cleanliness and safety
