Overview
We are looking to support a well-established machinery build company that are currently looking to add an Electrical Design Engineer to the structure. The company design and manufacture bespoke capital equipment that is supplied globally and are a dynamic and growing business.
The Role
Reporting into the Electrical Design Manager, you will be responsible for end to end everything electrically - sizing calculations for drives and motors, current and panel cooling. You will be allocated a project and this will take anything from 6 - 12 weeks to complete depending on the complexity. Once you are through the first few weeks, you will then be providing tech support for the Assembly team in Production when they start to carry out the wiring. You will also working with Procurement by releasing a BOM so they can get the parts.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
For a 37.5 working week, you will receive a generous base salary alongside 25 days holidays plus bank holidays, pension contribution scheme, overtime, sick pay scheme, 3 x life assurance plus other benefits. - Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Ideally 3+ years experience in a similar role involving panel design
- Manufacturing experience, ideally within machinery build
- EPLAN experience desirable
- Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
- Analytical and proving solving skills
- Capability to work to tight deadline
