Senior Design Engineer – Hybrid Role in Cheshire 

Are you a creative and driven mechanical design engineer with a passion for turning ideas into reality? We’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a dynamic team, working on cutting-edge machine solutions that are making waves in various technical industries. 

What You’ll Do: 

• Innovate and Create: Collaborate across teams to develop design solutions that blend technological innovation with practical application
• Lead Projects: Take the helm in designing, developing, and detailing engineering drawings using 3D SolidWorks, ensuring they meet both company and customer specifications
• Ensure Excellence: Work closely with product teams to guarantee that customer requirements are not just met but exceeded, from the initial concept to final commissioning
• Document and Deliver: Compile the necessary technical documentation to fulfil contractual and quality requirements. 
• Champion Safety: Uphold the highest standards of health, safety, and welfare for yourself and your team

What You’ll Need: 

• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, with a strong background in designing complex machine and automation solutions
• Skills: Proficiency in 3D modelling (preferably SolidWorks), with a knack for taking designs from concept through to completion. 
• Education: Degree or HNC in mechanical engineering (or a similar field)
• Mindset: A dynamic, self-motivated individual who thrives in a varied environment, bringing both creativity and practicality to the table. 
• Personality: A personable and professional team player who positively influences the team dynamic
