We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic supply chain manager to oversee Planning and Procurement teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving performance and ensuring that all operational goals are met, while also managing the day-to-day functions in line with company standards. This role involves the strategic management of inventory, production schedules, and supply chain processes to optimise efficiency and reduce costs.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Optimisation: Lead efforts to minimise excess stock and obsolete inventory, ensuring efficient use of working capital.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials from suppliers.
  • Process Improvement: Conduct regular reviews of planning and procurement processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
  • Master Production Scheduling (MPS): Oversee the creation and management of production schedules that align with market demand and operational capabilities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with supply chain, engineering, and product teams to address any supply issues and support new product introductions.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data analysis to drive process improvements and ensure optimal inventory levels for key components.
  
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, with a strong background in both people and process management.
  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience in MPS forecasting, inventory management, and working capital optimisation.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data trends and make informed decisions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Leadership: Excellent leadership skills with the ability to mentor, guide, and motivate teams.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • ERP Proficiency: Familiarity with ERP systems
